The Genesis Support Connection team

About us

We started Genesis because we believed care could be better

Founded in Perth by people with lived experience of disability, Genesis Support Connection was built on a simple idea: that everyone deserves support that truly sees them as a person first.

A Genesis support worker and participant sharing a genuine moment

Our story

Genesis Support Connection was founded by a small team of disability support professionals and family members who had seen firsthand how impersonal and fragmented support services could be. We knew there was a better way.

We started with a commitment to doing things differently — hiring support workers who genuinely care, taking time to understand each participant's goals, and building relationships that last. That commitment hasn't changed.

Today we support individuals and families across Perth, Western Australia, delivering NDIS-funded services that are flexible, respectful, and centred on what matters most to each person we work with.

Our mission

Mission

To support every person we work with to live the life they choose — with dignity, independence, and genuine human connection.

Vision

A Perth where every person with disability has access to support that truly fits their life.

What guides us

Our values

01

Person-first

We see the person before the disability. Every plan, every visit, every conversation starts with who you are and what you want.

02

Dignity always

We deliver every service — no matter how personal — with the same respect and care we'd want for our own family.

03

Genuine relationships

We match participants with support workers who are a real fit, and we invest in those relationships for the long term.

04

Transparent & honest

No jargon, no hidden processes. We communicate clearly and keep families informed every step of the way.

05

Community rooted

We're a Perth-based team. We know this city, its communities, and its services — and we're here for the long haul.

06

Continuous improvement

We actively seek feedback from participants and families, and we use it to keep getting better at what we do.

Want to know if we're the right fit?

We'd love to have a conversation. No commitment, no pressure — just an honest chat about your situation and how we might be able to help.
